Pebble dashing a wall

Pebble dashing is applied during the rendering process as a decorative finish. It was extremely popular in the UK until the 1970s, when tyrolean and other smooth renders took over.

The harsh weather in the UK (in particular around the North West coast in Liverpool, Formby and Southport) has led to some properties’ pebble dashing failing. An expert opinion is required to confirm if the pebble dashing is repairable, or must be removed.

Steve Donoghue is a time served plasterer with years of experience in pebble dashing walls, having been an apprentice in 1973. He can be trusted to provide an impartial and cost- effective appraisal of your pebble dashing, and recommend suitable solutions.
