What is Dry lining?

Dry lining, using drywall (also known as gypsum board) is a common building material, especially in new properties. The material is primarily used when dry lining walls, but can also be used in ceilings and with dry lining insulation.

Dry lining is a skilled job, and as such is often undertaken by time served plasterers such as  Steve Donoghue of Donoghue Plastering. Steve served his apprenticeship in 1973 so has worked with drywall for many years in his job as a plasterer.
